About Thora
Thora Finnsdottir graduated with a Master's degree in Ceramic Design from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Design in 2009. Since then, she has worked as a practicing ceramicist, teacher, and designer. Thora studied biology at the University of Copenhagen, and in her artistic practice, she fundamentally works with the relationship between nature and humans, reflecting on traces, materiality and design. With an investigative approach to the ceramic material, she is concerned with how the ceramic field can develop in a more sustainable direction.
