About

My starting point for working with imagery is a registration and investigation of the world we are all surrounded by and are a part of. It is a working process that is born of a curiosity and wonder about the miracle of existence.

It is my intention to convey this wonder through imagery and thereby make visible the conditions, for better or worse, that existence offers us.

In recent years, photography has been my preferred medium, partly as classic photography and as elements in mixed-media images and photo collages.

Ice flowers

Ice flowers are from a series taken in the Botanical Garden in Copenhagen. It was a strange sight! The irrigation system must have been turned on while the weather was freezing. The result was fantastic, the flowers frozen in all their beauty.

Amager ruins pictures

At one time, there was a large plot of land on Njalsgade where the buildings were being demolished. I cycled past and saw the gate standing open – just on this sunny day.
