Natsuki Kurimoto's Urushi
(Japanese Lacquer) Workshop

This workshop lets you experience sanding and polishing a base coat of mother-of-pearl, eggshell, and colored lacquer with waterproof sandpaper. You can complete and take home a brooch or pendant after the workshop.
Since it involves sanding and polishing dried lacquer, you don't need to worry about allergic reactions.
Registration required; materials fee to be collected in advance.

Guide Tour
Fridays of odd-numbered weeks from 17:00 to 18:30. Curator Yuko will guide visitors (In English).
