About Jakob
Jakob Agger is a versatile Danish visual artist and furniture designer based in Hundested.
His artistic work is characterized by a deep curiosity and an experimental
approach to media and materials.
For Jakob Agger, the process itself is the driving force in his work. Rather than focusing exclusively on the final result, he finds his passion in exploring an idea, searching for visual possibilities and testing different forms of expression. His works arise in the field of tension between the planned and the intuitive experiment.
Jakob Agger spans a wide range of two- and three-dimensional disciplines thanks to his background as both a trained visual artist and furniture designer.
Locally, he is an active part of the artistic scene in North Zealand and participates in the annual event Åbne Atelierdøre under the auspices of Kunst i Halsnæs, he is also part of Kunstgruppen N 22
