About

Born in Ishikawa, Japan and currently based in London / Kanazawa. His practice combines images, 3D and 2D works, creating immersive space-time installations that reflect his unique worldview. Through the repetitive movement between personal and collective memory, he explores specific motifs that evoke a sense of universality, fragility, and nostalgia.

His works are held in the public collections of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, US; the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, AU; the National Museum of Art, Osaka, Japan; and the Hayward Gallery, London, UK, among others.
